Ahead of the 2022 CONCACAF Champions League quarter-final second legs, MLS circles are wondering if this will be the chance to finally shake off Liga MX’s dominance in the confederation’s club competition.
After the results from the Round of 16, where CF Montréal eliminated Santos Laguna with a 3-0 second-leg win (3-1 aggregate). In the first leg of the quarter-finals, the Seattle Sounders and New England Revolution were 3-0 winners over both Leon and Pumas UNAM, and NYCFC cruised to a 3-1 win over Comunicaciones FC.
